The changing of the seasons has me marveling at the beauty of a tipping point. Today we are in balance with light and dark. Tomorrow the light starts growing to fill more and more of our Earth days in the northern hemisphere. All that has been bubbling in the dark depths of our subconscious may sprout and grow into new forms for this season’s coming dance of life and beauty and harvests.
I’ve been speaking with Spring this morning, channeling and writing her words into form to share with you, which I will do when I have a moment to type them up!
And in this lovely visit we’ve been having with one another, I’ve been given an invocation for expanding your havingness and a ritual you can do tap into the deliciousness that comes with allowing yourself to be seen and heard for who you truly are.
You don’t need to do anything special to do the invocation, though if it pleases you, you may set up candles, an altar or whatever feels right for you!
However, I invite you to read it and do it right here, right now, wherever you are. Allow it to move through your heart and resonate throughout your being.
Invocation For Havingness
Dear Spring and Dear Divine,
Please help me expand my havingness and to attune to the resonance of plenty and then some, from a place of knowing I am abundant and worthy of having all this and more.
Fill the holes where I desire havingness from a place of needing to make up for lack.
Allow me to experience havingness from a place of knowing true abundance and plenty as it flows from the eternal source of all creation.
Dissolve all my resistance to allowing you to flow through me, in me, as me, dear Divine.
Dissolve my illusions into your great river of love.
Allow me to allow you to flow through me, resonant, abundant, pure and clear.
Ritual for Being Seen and Heard and Loved As You Are
The ritual is a super simple and luxurious form of self care. I always wash my face with honey, and today as I was doing so, this ritual came through to share with you.
While I did this in about 3 minutes, you can take as long or short as you please. Again, what matters is that you allow yourself the space in your heart to connect with and resonate with what this ritual is bringing you.
About two tablespoons of honey
A sink (or place to wash your face)
If you need to remove your makeup, do that first. Otherwise, go for it!
Dampen your hands in warm water. Use about half of the honey and spread it all over your face gently. Very gently.
Let yourself enjoy the strange feeling and smell and maybe a little bit of taste that the honey brings with it.
Let yourself feel the luxury of putting this simple, golden gift from the earth and from the bees on your beautiful gift of a face.
Thank all the people, bees, flowers, rain, waters, soils and magic that went into the making of this honey.
And, as much as you’re capable of doing this, look yourself in the eyes and say, “I see you. I accept you. I love you exactly as you are.”
Ask the honey to help you feel the sweetness of how it feels to be seen and loved as you are. Trust that this sweetness embodied by the honey is connecting you with this experience, if not in this exact moment, in a moment soon to come to your conscious awareness.
Spread the other half of the honey down your chin, onto your neck, up to your ears and as far as you like down into your chest and heart.
And, as much as you’re capable of doing this, look yourself in the eyes, put your hands to your heart and/or your throat and say, “I hear you. I accept you. I love you exactly as you are.”
Ask the honey to help you feel the sweetness of how it feels to know and express your voice and to be heard and loved as you are. Trust that this sweetness embodied by the honey is connecting you with this experience, if not in this exact moment, in a moment soon to come to your conscious awareness.
Repeat the love and acceptance as much as feels good and complete to you. If you have tears, grief, ecstasy, love or joy come through, allow it to flow. Let it flow.
When you are ready, rinse your face gently, moisturize as usual, and thank the honey and the bees and flowers and earth for supporting you being seen and heard in your truth, beauty and power.
